Reporters without borders...campaign against China

This campaign of Reporters without borders is getting a lot of success around the world specially thatone of the five rings.. made to boicott the next Olimpic games in China next year. Well because China is a really bad country about human rights. And the Reports without borders are right..
Advertising Agency: Fabrica

via adsoftheworld

But, Unfortunatly the campaign about internet black hole where China appears too, it is created by Fabrica, the creative agency of United colors of Benetton..one of the worst company for the human rights on workers..
It s a quite big contradiction. I ll ask to them

Giants are back..

Ads that want to touch more the brand awarness and the support an idea of "cool" product more then explain the product and claim it to the real target, the children.. but Lego is a legend and they can do it.

Yes, one day all of this will be mine!

Back with my social side...
La Fundacao brasilera para a Conservacao de Natureza has created this new campaign about environment and pollution. The campaign is not so original but I really liked the claim:
Son, one day all of this will be yours.
Preserve the future.

Avatars are everywhere with Weblin

This kind of technology can change our way to think chat or istant messaging.. yes, because with Weblin u can have an avatar and "travel" around the sites of the net and meet other avatars on your same web pages..

from the official site:
It doesn't matter what you are doing on the internet, with weblin you'll meet others who are browsing the same page at the same time. People who have the same interests as you and who can give you new impulses, whether they are from your neighbourhood or from the other side of the globe. With weblin you can meet new friends easily by chance. You can find kindred spirits. You can chat and surf the web together, arrange meetings - whatever is fun. Not just on one website, but across the Internet! The Internet is gigantic.

well, maybe too much invasive.. but really really interesting..

Virtual blog for Cisco

Crisis or not, Secondlife goes on...and also the agencies and the brands that are in! The lastone is Cisco that has created a virtual blog. As Christian Renaud, Chief Architect of the Networked Virtual Environments team at Cisco, says in the inaugural post:
"We believe that these environments offer an excellent new tool in our collaboration toolbox, alongside established technologies like IP Telephony, Web Collaboration, and Telepresence. They also offer a number of new opportunities to collaborate in ways we haven't had before, which is intuitively obvious to those who use them regularly, but we'll work on enumerating in future blogposts."

If the claim of Cisco is "welcome to the human network" , well maybe in the next future it will be "welcome to the (virtual) human network"..

Flashlight advertising...becoming viral

In the last time, there are more videos on Youtube & co. with the flashlights metod.. well when something has success, a good advertiser pick that to create a good idea for some brands...
And Skycast and Sprint too useflashlights for their new campaigns..

from Adsoftheworld:

Lightwriting in London by the Lichtfaktor crew. An amazing new technique achieved by setting the camera to long time exposure and writing with flash lights on the landscape. Commissioned to promote Sky's Star Wars vs Star Trek season - showing all 6 star wars and 10 star trek films, in one weekend. Rationale was to create something new, striking and original to two of the best known entertainment brands on the planet, whilst keeping true to their spirit. Lichtfaktor, who hail from Cologne, Germany, were found on myspace by Sky Movies, and approached directly.

Advertising Agency: Lichtfaktor
Released: August 2007

This video is pretty long to be a viral but as I said many times, if a viral video captures the attention, it really doesnt matter how long is the video. And this capture the attention..
but also this one for Sprint

But as I always say: without a good spread, it's difficult that many people watch this video, then becomes a viral video..

There.. success but difficult to find it

There is the most successful alternative to Secondlife and it s starting to have success..
why? if on Google it is the first link, on Flickr, Slideshare or Youtube is almost impossible find something about There. Why? Because it is a name too common and when you r too common on internet, your life become difficult..
Well, something about There. first the target. Thanks to Kzero:

The minimum age threshold for the main grid of Second Life (18 years) may be a reason why younger dems reside in There.com. As shown above, 32% of the registered population are in the 13 - 17 bracket. Although Second Life does has a teen grid, this is kept completely apart from the adult population and does not have a currency or allow commercial activity.
from kzero too
Here or There the future (not NOW!) will be a sum of Synthetic worlds!

Linden labs and Secondlife has their coins..

From synthetic (virtual) world to the real world..here we are with the pic of 1 linden Dollar. Good or not? mmm but on EBay:
A few of the coins were made available on eBay, where they went for $26.61, although I can’t tell how many were included in that auction. In any case, only 75 coins were struck, which means that the eBay buyer is paying collector’s prices, not foreign exchange prices.

Eletrocity, the ecologial advgame that seems a sim city

This is cool! This is an advergame! U wanna play? well u have to create your sim as sim city but u ve to create an ecological city with wind water and sun!Check out the advergame: http://www.electrocity.co.nz/

Watch a video about the game: http://rivetnewzealand.com/showcase/electrocity/

It's a SimCity like game that requires players to make land-use and energy decisions to determine the fate of their community over a 150-turn period. You start with a pristine New Zealand landscape of rivers, mountains and bush. Then it’s a case of deciding what you want to do with it. You can create a clean and green tourist town or a monstrous metropolis with millions of citizens. You can even do nothing. And behind there is HP..

Creatives are bad: my presentation

http://www.aaa-copywriter.it/Deposito/07-07-13/cab.jpg
Do u remember Creatives are bad, the advertising convention in the south of Italy, where the organization called me as an expert of viralmarketing? Well after a week I have the pics of the event and specially the slides of my presentation.

Well I have to say that it was a real proud for me to do a presentation about viralmarketing and know at the convention some people that opened my mind as:
Fulvio Zendrini - Marketing manager at Piaggio ItaliaAlex Badalic of AAA-copywriter
and Pierluigi Emmulo of Communication village
This is the exhibition

thisone the location of the convention.. an old cappella.. great
and this is me during my presentation
and here during another presentation

The convention was pretty cool but unfortunatly I discovered that the italian advertisers live in the past compare to the other countries and are pretty closed also with the mind.. a sign of an ipothetic change is this convention organized in the south of Italy.
and I hope to show as soon is possible also some videos of the convention

Ikea becomes viral

With the roomies , Ikea becomes viral too.. The viral video is pretty funny but there a small error.. The jingle is not so immersive and funny.. but unfortunatly the viral is based on that jingle.. We can do better. Interesting as Ikea compares as the sponsor of the video..
