Second Skin, a documentary on players of synthetic worlds


Two years to do this documentary where a lot of things changed in the net and specially in the synthetic worlds.
Second Skin takes an intimate look at computer gamers whose lives have been transformed by the emerging genre of Massively Multiplayer Online games (MMOs). World of Warcraft, Second Life, and Everquest allow millions of users to simultaneously interact in virtual spaces. Second Skin introduces us to couples who have fallen in love without meeting, disabled players who have found new purpose, addicts, Chinese gold-farming sweatshop workers, wealthy online entrepreneurs and legendary guild leaders - all living in a world that doesn't quite exist.

Capturing the online lives of seven gamers, the film speaks about love, greed and depression about the alienation of these worlds. Second Skin premieres at the South By Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas this March.

Hi everybody, with plasure I ve to tell u that Tuesday 22nd in Pesaro (Italy) I completed my courses of study finishing my MA. It was so cool and exciting!

My thesis it's called The viral net: Viral Marketing, Buzz and Word of Mouth. Prospective of Social Advertisement. This is the cover of my thesis:



It's a thesis based on Non conventional Marketing and Connected Marketing (from Justin Kirby and Paul Marsden). Naturally Viral Marketing is the hub of this thesis. I analized also Social Advertisement because my case study speaks about this. I created during Sept 2007 a viral video for a Social campaign called Superegali, a fundraising campaign developed by Terre des Hommes.

So, the focus of my thesis was understand if it's possibile use these non conventional strategies in a qualitative way rather only quantitative as almost all agency do!

Well, soon this thesis will be sell on internet and the half earn will be donate to Terre des Hommes. Unfortunately it's just in Italian at the moment.

Frozen flash mob also in Rome (Frozen Termini)

Probably you already know the video Frozen Grand Central developed by Improveverywhere. In less than 20 days it made more than 4 million of views just on YouTube..



Well there are a lot of people around the world that seeing this video were excited to do the same. And we did it in Rome too. Thanks to a my friend that made the blog Frozen Termini (the name of the main station in Rome), we organized the Frozen action in only 5 days. And more than 80 people came for the action!!!

Guerrilla and viral video laser experience. After Vista and Diesel Ecco shoes



To launch Windows Vista, Microsoft used one year ago the great lens Cheoptics360 XL produced by the danish design agency vizoo.com, with a 3d effect!


Also Diesel, to present its new spring/summer season has based the show on an aquatic theme entitled “Liquid Space” and brought together Barcelona animation studio Dvein – who worked on the CGI visual effects and 3D animations based on the Vizoo technology


The last is Danish shoemanufacturer Ecco has chosen this lens for a presentation of one of their new products in Copenhagen Airport. Visitors in Copenhagen Airport got themselves a unique experience.

This is a kind experience that the user gonna remember!!
